A NEW VOICE FOR SCHOOL BOARD
Anne Templeton has a history of advocating for public education. As the PTA president at Beaumont Magnet School, she fought for funding for arts education along with the needs of kids, teachers, and families hit hard during the Covid-19 pandemic. She has continued to build resources through investments in after-school programming as Board President of Shora Foundation.
She believes excellent public schools are essential and must be safeguarded through successful partnerships between parents, students, teachers, communities, and administration.
MEET ANNE
Anne Templeton is a dedicated advocate for public education and community engagement. She brings a wealth of management experience, and a passion for fostering positive change. Having spent the last decade in Knoxville, she has solidified her reputation as a dynamic leader through city-wide volunteer work along with a freelance career in marketing and large-scale event planning.
Anne lives in the Fountain City area with her husband, Shane, and daughters, Grace and Layne.
